I'm afraid to say, due to recent abuses against this website by a few select unscrupulous customers, effective immediately, our shipping and return policies have changed and will be strictly adhered to. Please note that the policies of this website are clearly disclosed and can be accessed from any page of the website.

We guarantee 100% satisfaction on all purchases. We take pride in the quality of our products and take all measures to assure orders are packaged and shipped in good condition. However, If you're not completely satisfied with a product you purchased from us, please let us know.

Return Policy

You may return eligible items for a full refund (see exceptions below) minus any shipping charges within 15 days of the receipt date. All returns must be in original packaging and in retail condition. Items that have been removed from their original packaging may be denied a refund if not in retail condition, or subject to a 20% restocking fee. Defective merchandise may be exchanged for the same item. All returned products must accompany a RA# (Return Authorization). Any returns without an authorization number will be refused and / or shipped back at customers expense. Please include the following information in your email:
  • The full name of purchaser (for example, Jane Doe).
  • The order id number.
  • A brief product description, and the condition of the product.
  • The reason for returning the product.
Once you have received your RA#, ship the product back to us. All returned packages must have the RA# clearly written on the outside of box. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by customer. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. If possible, please use a shipping company, such as UPS or FedEx, which can track packages. If it's more convenient, you may ship packages using USPS (Postal Service). We are not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. When your return has been received and processed, we will credit your account via PayPal within 5-7 days for the amount of your purchase, less shipping, handling, any applicable tariffs and taxes, and a 20% restocking fee (certain items only).

Specialty Items and Exceptions to Return Policy:
Some specialty items are subject to exceptions to our return policy.
  • Bedding: All bedding products including, but not limited to, quilts, shams, bedskirts, throw pillows and associated rugs, draperies and valances are considered special order and/or hand-made to order items. Because of this, they are not returnable for any reason and all sales are final. We understand that sometimes colors are difficult to determine on your monitor and so, customers are welcome to request a swatch of any particular pattern at no charge. In the event that a swatch of an exact pattern is not available, a similar color one may be sent (many patterns feature the same colors with different design and will coordinate perfectly with each other). Sizes and dimension are listed on most products and it is the customer's responsibility to ask any questions prior to ordering. We are always happy to help. To request a swatch, please email Please include the pattern name that you would like along with your name and shipping address.
  • Surfboard Furniture and Home Accents: These items are hand-made to order and are thus, not returnable.
  • Custom Items: Some items are customizable as to color, embroidery, etc. These items are "all sales final" and cannot be canceled or returned once ordered.
  • Clearance and Sale Items: All marked down items are considered "all sales final", no returns. These are clearance items and will not be re-stocked.

Defective or Damaged Goods Return

No returns due to defective or damaged goods can be authorized if you have been in receipt of the item(s) more than (1) business day or 24 hours from delivery. Freight company delivery records will be utilized to determine date and time of receipt. For all damages call 561-791-6396. If you reach voice mail, leave a detailed message with the time you called, your name, item damaged and description and a phone number where you can be reached. Follow up with an email to and attach photos. Keep all original packaging.

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order before it has shipped, you may do so within 3 days by emailing Please include your name and order number in any correspondence. All money will be refunded to your credit card or paypal account, including shipping charges and applicable sales tax. After 3 days, you will be refunded the total amount less a 20% restocking fee. Specialty items (see above) must be canceled within 1 business day or will be subject to 20% restock fee.

Shipping and Handling

Stock Items:
Items in stock usually ship within 1-4 business days from the time your order was processed (except where noted). We try to ship items as soon as possible after ordering, but if an item absolutely needs to be delivered by a certain date, please inquire about estimated ship time before placing your order.

Specialty Items:
Some specialty items take longer to ship than stock items.
  • Bedding: All bedding products and accessories (pillows, valances, some rugs, etc.) generally take at least 3-4 weeks to be shipped. Each of these items also states this on their product info page. Please do not select expedited shipping on these items and expect them to arrive immediately. Occasionally, some bedding items may experience a backorder longer than the standard 3-4 weeks. If this happens, we will ship everything else and send the backordered item(s) as soon as possible.
  • Surfboard Furniture: Because all of the surfboard furniture is hand-made to order, standard shipping time is 2-4 weeks. This is also stated on the product info page.
  • Other: There are a few other individual items that may require a longer ship time. Please read product info pages carefully.

Drop Shipped Items

Some items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. In these cases, we always place your order with the manufacturer immediately upon receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot control shipping date in these instances. Also, some items may arrive via a different carrier than selected (i.e. FedEx). Each manufacturer uses their own preferred shipping method. Some manufacturers may impose a restock fee for returns at their discretion. Ocean Styles will abide by the manufacturers' individual return policies.

Backordered Items:

We do our best to have most items in stock, but occasionally items will be backordered. If your order contains items that are backordered for more than a week then we'll email/call to inform you about the delivery status. If the back ordered items are expected to take more than a week, then we will ship other items on your order as a partial shipment and your backordered items will ship out as soon as they arrive.

Free Shipping Promotions:

Please note that any order that takes advantage of one of our frequent free shipping promotions will be sent via the most economical method available, regardless of selection made at checkout. If you absolutely must have a specific delivery service (i.e. 2nd day air or Express shipping), please do not use a free shipping coupon, as this will be disregarded.

Expedited Shipping:

Note that expedited delivery options reflect time in transit only, not actual ship date. Several items on the website (see above) take extra time to be shipped so please read the product information pages carefully before selecting expedited shipping.

Warranty Policy

Ocean Styles is an authorized retailer of products on our website and we will gladly assist you with any warranty claims. We are not the manufacturer and are restricted to those policies set forth by the manufacturer of the product. In addition, most warranties only cover true defects in materials and workmanship. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, abuse, neglect, lack of preventive maintenance, improper installation or other end-user induced problems.
